This past weekend my friend William, permaculture extraordinaire, came over to help out in the garden.  What started out as an ordinary sheet mulching day turned into a log recovery mission.  We found some rotting logs behind XOX that looked neglected.  However, what appears to be just an old log from the outside contains an entire ecosystem underneath!
